ABOUT ME
I'm a 30-something dreamer who's now putting into practice the travels i've been dreaming about for years. Having spent 10 years living on and off in London and Manchester UK, I decided to drop out of the rat race and see what the rest of the world has to offer.
I'm very easy going, fun loving and always up for new things. Life for me is all about being open to learning and experiencing something new all the time. People, places, sights and sounds
In October 08 I left the UK, heading off through europe and on Trans-siberian down through Russia to Mongolia and China. I was intending to fly straight on to Australia but was having so much fun that I decided to extend for a while and see a little of South East Asia, headed through Vietnam and Cambodia.
I spent 2 months in Australia but fate propelled me back here to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, a country I completely fell in love with.
Right now there is no other place I want to be
PHILOSOPHY
It's all about the journey, that's what makes travel so satisfying
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host and help with organising meetups in Phnom Penh, happy to meet everyone who travels through this way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have spent the best part of a lifetime couchsurfing, though 'unofficially' til I found this website .. Since then I've couchsurfed through Russia, Mongolia and China and attended meetings from Helsinki to Melbourne and quite a few places in between. Not to mention hosting CSers and CS parties here in Cambodia, from weekly dinner meetings to a 30-strong traditional Xmas dinner
Since deciding to settle in Phnom Penh I've had some great experiences with CS meet-ups and in hosting an ever changing influx of travelers to Cambodia. Look forward to continuing this experience... it has been so far, without exception, a joy!
