About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning the ways of the WORLD...one country at a time.

ABOUT ME

I am goofy and entertaining.

I'm into geography and maps...basically I'm a travel junkie. I like writing in journals and burying myself neck deep in travel lit. I am married to Jacob, who keeps me balanced when my head gets lost in the clouds.

The kitchen is one of my favorite place, I can cook and create goodies for my friends and family.

I want to spend my time photographing people in their daily lives..documentary style . I also love landscapes. I dream of being a national geographic (traveler) photographer. Much like my favorite photographer, Jodi Cobb.

Spending more time these days in the classroom, but I still find time to enjoy the outdoors. Jacob and I love walking the trails and taking in mother earths beautiful vistas!

PHILOSOPHY

We're all travelers in this world. From the sweet grass to the packing house. Birth 'til death. We travel between the eternities.
-Broken Trails

"When there is a fork in the road, take it."
-Yogi Barra

"Beginnings are scary
The end is usually sad
But its the middle that counts the most"
-Birdy from Hope Floats

"For you, a thousand times over."
-Hassan, The Kite Runner

REMEMBER: Amateurs built the ark...Professionals built the titanic

Personal Philosophies are over rated...I think there are just good quotes in life.

I live by my heart...which doesnt always agree with my head....its battle field!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I drink coffee, juice & tea with people who have great stories to tell. I like to show people the city and give them "beyond the guide book" tours.
I hope to host surfers when I finally settle into one spot for awhile--one day. :D

Surfed: Athens, England, Paris, Itay, Washington DC x 3, Boston

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thus far Couch Surfing has opened my world. I have had wonderful experiences while being hosted by CSers around the world.

I have been saved from sleeping on the street in Athens and have learned how to probely pronounce "Dov'è la toilette?" thanks to CSers. I look forward to learning and becoming more trusting of the world through the CouchSurfering Project.
