Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since i've been asked several times now... it should be noted that I am not available for long-term couchsurfing. At most, a few days. My work schedule is entirely too sporadic.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far with CouchSurfers. Backpacked Europe a bit. Stayed in a few hostels and a couple sleeper trains! i've been traveling all over Cameroon. Not the most experienced traveler as you could guess, but I plan on changing that

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bruised some ribs crowdsurfing once.
Sailed from Namibia to Curacao.
Teach, Learn, Share
The way to survive the crushing wave of people at a concert is just to relax your entire body and let the force of the crowd keep you up. Trust me, it works. If it gets too unbearable, then I suggest the following; Although you can't move laterally, ask your neighbor to help you move vertically. It's exciting and a real adrenaline rush, but be careful! (see Amazing Thing Done). If your goal is to just get out of the crowd, just relax your body and let people throw you into the security gaurds. Getting down without getting yanked by the security guards is tricky but don't be afraid of them. They can be jerks sometimes, but they'll keep your head from smacking the pavement. And no, they will not throw you out for this, they'll just walk you (or point you in the direction of) the back of the crowd.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got a couch that's pretty comfortable. If you stay during the week, you'll have to leave at 5:45am because that's when I leave for work. Other than that, we can go to a bar or see some of the wonderful Houston sites
