I really enjoy living in other countries and meeting new people. I have lived in Japan and New Zealand, and studied abroad in Germany and Switzerland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing and found out about it through friends in town who have hosted and surfed quite a bit. I've met quite a few of the people they have hosted, all of whom have been really cool. It seems like a really good community to be a part of.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite bands at the moment are Phoenix, Wolf Parade, Okkervil River, and Andrew Bird.

I prefer non-fiction books. Some of my recent favorites have been Guns, Steel, and Germs by Jared Diamond; and Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. I will also read fiction from time to time and have a weakness for Harry Potter.
