About Me

I've always found it very difficult to describe myself in a few sentences. But as I get older I've realised this is quite alright. I do tend to avoid conflict and be a peacemaker and I prefer to do it from the standpoint of authenticity. I'm not always successful with the authenticity part, but I'm quite good at noticing when I'm not authentic and I've been learning to forgive myself for that too. I've learned that being nice and non-judgmental starts with being nice and non-judgmental to yourself first.

I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world. I hope one day we'll live in a world without borders, nationalism, wars, greed and oppression and people will be free to travel and chose where to live while preserving the variety and richness of our cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While respecting everybody's privacy, I prefer to use this platform for meeting and getting to know people as well as sharing good times with them. As a host I'd hang out with you and show you around. I can be a guide around the South-West of Ireland.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like jazz, R&B, ethno music, britpop. Music preformed live is always better.

Movies... I mostly watch TV series on Netflix these days... I've enjoyed House of Cards, Bloodline, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Mad Men, Kimmy Schmidt, Six Feet Under. Also old European movies are great.

I tend to read non-fiction books, mostly spiritual and self-development. Also books with unorthodox theories about ancient civilizations and religion, books on astrology and other occult subjects. An all time favorite fiction writer is Hermann Hesse.
