Hey, my name is Nik and I must admit I am not very good at self descriptions. I will give it a go!

I love travelling new places and meeting new people - I've lived in Scotland land of the Brave and London, as well as spending a couple of months travelling through Thailand, Cambodia and America. It's fair to say that each year I have a new destination in mind!

I am a very open and inquisitive person, I get a thrill from discovering new cultures...and new ways of cooking. For me one of the best ways to gain an insight into a place is to speak to its inhabitants and that's why you find me here!

I love sport - gym, running and am getting into weightlifting. I would love to learn how to surf but I haven't had the opportunity to yet! 🏄🏽

Alongside sport my passions include art, philosophy and literature. I'm the kind of guy who puts Hume in humour.

When I'm travelling I'm hardly ever in - except for a hearty breakfast and a dinner. I like to think of myself as a good cook and would love to treat you to my speciality - veggie or pescatarian - I got your back!

I'm easy going and organised. I respect other people's personal space and possessions. I am up for a chat and a giggle but also understand that sometimes we all need our space and I'd like to think I am sensitive to that.
