Pretty easy going, mature and able to entertain myself. Really keen to meet new people and see the cities, towns and places around the world that people choose to live in. Love having chats about plans and adventures. I'm polite, ill respect your house as if it were my own, and i look after my things.
More than happy to help out with housework if it needs doing :)
Currently taking a year off from work to see the world and have some awesome experiences.
Like sharing experiences and having a fun time with with friends, old or new.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm really happy im travelling and expanding my horizons, its the most liberating feeling in the world.
Every day is a new adventure when you get to travel, I never know who im going to meet next. I've made a lot of new friends through my travels.

different types of people who might be different from my normal groups of friends, i think it is really healthy to do this, not only do value your friends so much higher, but you get to meet awesome people along the way

currently i'm looking to surf and hang out, but when im back home in australia hit me up. my couch is your couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only done a few times in Asia when i was solo travelling, had the best time ever, enough for me to rate it highly on my travel experience list.
It's just the best way to meet new people, which is why I went travelling in the first place! (and to see awesome places off the tourist trail is even better!)

Interests

I'm a registered nurse working intensive care. I really enjoy learning about medicine. I've grown up on the coast and have always been into the ocean fishing and diving. Currently on an open ended adventure through America, Mexico and Europe next.
Love hiking and nature photography, especially macro.
Keen to get back into some freediving pretty soon. Love the challenge it gives me.

Learning new languages! And new food!

Also really like playing piano and listening to a massive range in good music. Love discovering new un-popular stuff and seeing small live shows.

music: all sorts, currently loving chilled out electro; nicolas jaar, the knife, emancipator, bonobo, god is an astronaut, holy other, shlohmo, brian eno, moderat, massive attack et cetera. hiphop like nas and biggie and dr dre. electro like prydz, kraftwork, daft punk. other stuff joy division, fat freddys drop, sublime, tv on the radio, tool.

books: currtently reading Huck Finn if thats any indication, love fantasy and good thrillers. the origin of species!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Week long hikes in Tasmanian wilderness. Pretty epic!

Freediving with endangered grey nurse sharks with friends. I'd wanted to do this for as long as I'd been diving and I was speechless for the whole day!
Listening to rad beats with my mates and having a few beers on a balmy summers afternoon.
