Well, my name is Nika. I started traveling with my parents when I was 8 years old and this is how it all began...
Wherever I go, I love to try local food (especially deserts!). And I'm a coffee and tea addict. Unfortunately I'm not a good cook but I'm working on that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have tried couch surfing only once until now. It was in Porto, Portugal. My brother has more experience with Couchsurfing and he arranged everything for us. It was a very interesting experience and I decided to try it on my own!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movies: Rock'n'Rolla, The Lady Vanishes, Mother Night, Flipped, Monty Python's Life of Brian. I also like to watch cartoons.

My favorite bands are Pearl Jam, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Crystal Fighters. I also like going to concerts, listening to live music.

Well, I don't have a favorite book, but my favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Herman Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done was spending Christmas with the family of a Portuguese friend in Mertola. I had the opportunity to try homemade Portuguese food and his father told me a lot of things abut Portugal. In the evening we went to a bar, where his friends suddenly started to play the guitar and sing. Unforgettable!
