Overview
About Me
I'm Nika from Manila (been a Taft girl almost all my life lol).
I love writing, reading, drawing, trying new food, traveling, and meeting new people!
I love dogs!!! If you want to make me smile, laugh or cry, dog photos and videos are the way to go.
I'm an ambivert. I can be left alone for a long period of time, just stay at home reading ebooks or binge-watching my favorite Netflix shows. At the same time, if I go out and meet new people, I'm not shy at all. I'm pretty talkative and I love hearing other people's stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Been curious about this whole thing for a few years now. Figured I should finally try it out.
Would love to gain new, unique experiences and meet new friends! The cheap or free stay would just be an awesome bonus.
I've shifted to full-time freelancing last year and I'm planning to work remotely and travel long-term hopefully starting at the end of 2018 or sometime in 2019 (depending how things pan out).
Figured couch surfing will be one of the best ways to meet like-minded people and really immerse myself into the world of solo female traveling before I actually leave home.
Looking forward to get to know you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to different kinds of music--acoustic, alternative rock, house, EDM, reggae, etc. I also love old songs from Air Supply and Michael Learns to Rock lol
My favorite movie is Blue Is The Warmest Color. Hands down one of the best I've seen. Just so raw and real. I love watching horror and thriller movies/shows too!
I have so many ebooks on my Mac! Lol. But at the top of my head, some of my favorites are Go Giver by Bob Burg, Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho and Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
Let's talk more about these when we meet! I wanna know yours too!
Teach, Learn, Share
This will sound cheesy, but I think the best thing we can share to each other are our realizations, learnings and experiences while traveling and with life in general.
We can talk about anything under the sun. Relationships, travel, pets, food--but maybe let's steer clear of politics to avoid conflict. Unless you insist. Lol.
If you have anything to share about you, your experiences, culture or tradition, please do! I would love to hear all of it!! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
As mentioned, I have LOTS of ebooks on my Mac! If you have a USB, I can transfer my files or just email them to you if you want to read any of them. :)
Also, I have lots of stories to share!
I can help around your place with chores or errands.
I can help with cooking too, but I'm not really good at it. I only know basic frying. hahaha.
Hope we can get to share awesome moments over a drink or two or just hanging by the beach or something!
