ABOUT ME

Frivolous. Crazy at times. Love a good drink. And a party sometimes. Love the idea of travel, exchange and learning between cultures, sharing of experiences and lives. I've been traveling solo in Europe for 2 months now, couch surfing almost all the way and I think it has changed my life (:

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting off with my couchsurfing experience so not much that I can say here. I am hoping that I can learn and understand more about the perspectives/challenges a host faces as I travel. And be a better host/guest next time! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted an Italian dude once through hospitality club back when I was in University. Gem of a guy. And he cooked amazing pasta for us..mmmm!

I've been hosted by such lovely people over the past two months in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia.. Every experience has been unique and enriching. Being given the privilege to experience someone's life and see the world through their eyes (albeit for a short while) is something truly magical!

CS is the absolute best way to travel. I love it! And I'm definitely looking forward to hosting people from around the globe when I get back home.

Interessen

Traveling (!), Hiking, Cycling, Football, Beer, Reading, and lately, Writing. Smiling and making others smile. And bothering others around me with my horrible singing :) Okay just too many things to write here I guess.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- When the granny at the Geriatric Ward gave me a flying kiss during morning rounds.
- The night sky in the Grand-Canyon in Early April.
- Gili Islands - Just about everything is Amazing!
- Diving with whale sharks in Oslob, Philippines.
- Meeting a green-eyed stranger on the beach and the feeling that you've known her for years after having spent just 2 days together.
- POSITIVUS! Be back next year for sure!
- Hiking in the High Tatras holding on to the chains ( for my dear life) on a vertical cliff at Priecne Sedlo.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I would really love to learn to cook as I travel. And Spanish.. Gosh, can't wait to reach Spain! (:

Besides teaching you how to pull off a beer bottle cap with your teeth, I could teach you some of the languages I know, share my crazy experiences that I've been having as I travel, and give you great advice on Nepal and Singapore of course!
