Hey! As you can see, I'm Niki, from Ioannina, NW Greece :)
I'm a Biology student at the local University, cureently doing my Erasmus exchange ("torturing" some seaweed for my thesis) in picturesque Gent, Belgium.
Right now I also knit, make origamis (I love dragons -complex but soo rewarding!), learn Dutch and I want to do some outdoor activities soon (tending towards ice-skating or some kind of dance).
I love long walks with friends (though in Gent I mostly cycle), drinking beers (preferably at rock concerts!) and chilling at people's houses (again drinking or playing pantomime, a kind of pictionary or whatever else occurs!)
Aaand (that's almost it, I'm coming to an end :P), I am slowly beginning to realise how delightful and creayive cooking is, so I'm constantly experimenting with whatever I have in my fridge!

It seemed so crazy I just had to do it! I think it's a great way to meet new people and places! Also, my first experiences were wonderful and I definitely want to try it again!

I'm experimenting at the time so almost anything is actually fine :)
However, I do especially enjoy fantasy books (I just LOVE Terry Pratchett, what about you?) as well as sci-fi and also books about people that feel real.
Of movies, I'm currently trying to watch Imdb's 250 best and what friends suggest!
Music... Hmm... Indie rock (can't resist Hozier!), metal and rock , balcan (ever listened to Gogol Bordello?) and again stuff :P

I believe the things one does are cool so long as he or she sees them that way! It's all about being enthusiastic about going to the supermarket, cooking lunch, walking with a friend or just lying in bed with a good book! Yaaay =D
If I had to pick just one though, it'd probably be a night the beach in my home village with a friend. We made sandwiches (we had no knives or anything though so we used my sunglasses to spread mayonnaise on them :P), and talked till we fell asleep on a sunbed, after watching the coolest meteor shower I've ever seen!

One of the things I like is teaching people words or phrases in Greek and giving, let's say, backstory info about them. And I can go on for some time when it comes to Biology ^_^
And anything you consider interesting is probably worth mentioning to me, I'm easily amazed ;) The world is full of wonders!
