My boyfriend (Gazz) and I just moved from Toronto to Nelson, BC in August 2017. We live in a magical small cabin 15 km east of the town of Nelson (less than 15 min drive), in a peaceful quiet area with lots of greenspace. We have an extra loft space with a couple of mattresses on the floor that surfers can sleep on. We would prefer having at least a weeks notice for requests please :)

About Niki: I grew up in Toronto, Canada. I recently quit my "regular 9-5 job" in healthcare to pursue a career as an artist. I paint using acrylic mediums and I am currently exploring different styles and discovering who I Am as an artist. About Gazz: Gazz grew up in Southampton, England and is now living in Canada on a working holiday visa. He's a carpenter by trade, but is currently looking to explore different work opportunities. He loves football (soccer) and travelling to new places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in all topics related to spirituality, consciousness, earth, ETs and love, more than anything, discussing these topics with new people. I love being opened by the different perspectives of other people and think it's an amazing way to accelerate my own spiritual growth and understanding of my Self as a human being.

As a "new" artist (by "new" I mean living as an artist instead of having art be a hobby on the side), I value all opportunities to share experiences and ideas with other artists/creative beings. During our road trip out to BC this summer, I started an art project titled "The Road Painted West", a collection of paintings inspired by the 8-week roadtrip across 2 countries, 10 states, and 2 provinces. When the series is complete (Fall 2017) I will be offering the paintings/prints for sale and donating a portion of all sales to reforestation groups to help plant trees around the world. This is my first ever art project and I would LOVE for this project to have input/evolve through my interactions with new friends I meet through couchsurfing.
