About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a fun-loving person who is very excited to travel, explore, learn, share, and give back in any way I can. I mainly like to travel to volunteer my time, as well as learn the local culture. I'm in my mid-20s, and don't have many big commitments in my life, so I am using this time to do as much as I can! I recently quit my full time job at a Non-Profit to travel and volunteer, and have taken up freelance work to sustain myself. I have a tattoo that says "humanity" in Hindi and another that says "happiness and freedom for all" in Sanskrit... and I strive to live by these principles every day. I'm very much a kid at heart and enjoy playing games and being silly with friends...just as much as I enjoy having insightful and enlightening conversations. I can have a good time doing just about anything :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My former roommates are couchsurfers and introduced me to this community. I loved hosting and meeting people from around the world, helping them out on their travels, and introducing them to the local sights and things to do.
Interests
I am very passionate about volunteering, working with youth, social wellness, and education. For fun I looooove to dance (hip-hop and contemporary), do yoga, run....stay active in general. I like board and card games of all kinds, live music, staying in and watching movies, and going to the club and dancing. I enjoy trying new things and overcoming my fears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one?!?!?! Alright alright....when I was in South Africa I stayed in a rural village with a family that had never had a western guest before. A 2 year old boy had never seen a person with white skin and was actually scared of us....but he came to me while I was sitting down on the small step of the hut, and I felt like I was Robin Williams in Hook when that Lost Boy touches his face to make sure its really Peter Pan. He touched my face and my hair until he decided I was OK. I don't think I'll ever ever forget that moment :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - how to dance! how to cook vegan/gluten free, English
Learn -anything and everything! Culture, language, local politics and social policies (I'm always super curious to know how other places operate)
Share - anything and everything! I can definitely share volunteer experiences (I love volunteering in groups), new adventures, stories and good conversation
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share vegan/gluten free cooking and meals, my love for dance, coloring books, good tequila and wine, a variety of card games/drinking games/games in general
