We are a family of 8 living in sunny, tropical North Queensland. I've lived in Mackay my whole life, so I know a lot of the great local attractions and if time permits for me would love to share some of our gorgeous 'touristy' areas with you.

I've been married for almost 10 years to Dan and we live together with our 3 children (youngest is 7) and we love travelling and meeting new people. We have a campervan we can set up for your use and a bathroom available.
**If you are sending a request to stay please acknowledge that our family lifestyle is to be respected - ouir pets are part of our family. No loud parties on school nights, we're always happy to have a drink and chat on our deck while looking at the stars.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost any genre of music my middle name could be 'I have a playlist for that' haha. I mostly watch comedy and action movies with my husband around and then more drama and romantic comedies when he is travelling for work. I love James Patterson books and the HP series, have not been reading as much in recent years as having three kids in school is quite time consuming.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the Haka peformed in an intimate room in Queenstown New Zealand is one of the most incredible things I have experienced outside of Australia. There are so many more though, hard to choose!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Respect!!! My husband and I regularly host family and friends and also stay with family & friends while travelling Australia. We would love to cook a meal or two and can bring Australian treats for you as our thanks. We will keep our area neat and tidy and respect your home and home rules.
