I live and work in St.Petersburg. Me and my wife Ulyana travel a lot, especially in Scandinavian countries and Europe. We like to explore different places to find new ideas and inspiration. WeI have a design-company which takes an important place in our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I like to communicate with people from different countries who have various experience. I also need some speaking practice, because I am learning English right now.

Interests

My work and my hobby fortunately coincide and I am interested in design, web- and mobile- technologies, marketing, management e.t.c. I do several sports: bicycle, runing and snowboarding which is my favourite one. I like to arrange and decorate spaces where people work and live in. Me and Ulyana, we like to find and renew some old fashioned and handcrafted things for interior design.

Movies: Twin Peaks, Moonrise Kingdom, all movies by Woody Allen, science fiction movies.

Music: Portishead, Velvet Underground, Radio Head, La Vern Baker and other music which sounds great on vinyl.

Books: Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand; Strugatsky brothers' books, all works by Gabriel García Marquez... so, I understood that last days I mostly read professional books.

I have done a little mountain trek around Annapurna in Nepal.
15 years ago me and my partner created our own company.
I have been riding a motorbike for several years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In our house we have one separate living room for guests. There are a sofa for single guests and a big air bed for couples.
We can get you from the airport or railway station to our house or the city center.
We know our city very well and we would like to make your appointments or guide you through its best side and hidden places.
