Hi there! I'm graduating from a small school in the suburbs of Chicago in May 2019, and I'm taking time to travel Europe to celebrate! I don't take life very seriously and love enjoying the beauty of each day. I have a passion for meeting new people and I love everything that has to do with the outdoors: climbing, camping, hiking, skiing, swimming, etc. I even spent the summer of 2017 working in Yellowstone National Park (I've got a LOT of stories about that.) I love the idea of getting to know the culture of a place for more than the regular tourist destinations it might be known for. I'm passionate about meeting people and hearing their stories, and that's why Couchsurfing appeals to me so much.

I love exploring new places and discovering new things, and I especially love doing activities that get my adrenaline pumping! I went to Guatemala for a bit last summer to do some volunteering and it was a great experience. Additionally, I really enjoy just sitting and drinking coffee in local cafés or reading interesting books.

In the summer of 2017 I worked as a housekeeper in Yellowstone National Park and got to meet friends from all around the world. That summer, I hiked over 100 miles and even drove 8 hours overnight to go to Glacier National Park, hike 15 miles, and then drove back the next night.
