Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a huge believer that we learn the most when we travel to new places and meet new friends. I've never couch-surfed or hosted a couch-surfer, and I'm looking forward to meeting members of this international community.

I'm on Couchsurfing to connect with hosts and travelers in the Chicagoland area and make a documentary that explores the benefits of new experiences. I'm looking for pairs of hosts and travelers who would be willing to let me follow them around for a bit, and answer questions about their time traveling and hosting. The film will mainly focus on the individual growth that comes with stepping outside the cycle of your every day life and the way that we connect with others.
