ABOUT ME

I have energy which comes from simply loving life. I'm passionate, athletic, and very determined. I enjoy learning about other cultures because it allows me to understand how we are all connected. I'm am also an avid runner and love adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

Every person you meet has a story worth learning and listening to. Each year of life brings new sounds, sights, smells, and tastes. With each of these new found experiences it challenges us in a new way and eventually an internal war erupts which furthermore allows us to figure out who we are just in time before it changes again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now while I'm studying abroad as a student in Rome I am staying with others, when I return to the states I'll be hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing on and off for a year now. I have had some absolutely life changing experiences.

Interests

Exercise, history, social justice, weightlifting, reading ,writing, cooking, learning about what others are passionate about, teaching, and writing curriculum.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Matilda and basically any romantic comedy
Music: ALL, especially EDM (electronic dance music)
Books: name a category- I'm all about the books. Philosophy I love Heracleitus. History, Howard Zinn is amazing. American classics, To Kill A Mockingbird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've run 9 marathons, embraced many sunsets, currently writing a textbook, and almost finished with two degrees in four years.

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledgeable of world history, Buddhist beliefs, athletic training advice, nutrition, writing, and curriculum construction. Anything besides cars, I'm fair game in having something to share. As for anything, especially cars since I don't know much about them, I am open to learning.
