Hi! We're a recently married Australian couple in our late 20s. We're both originally from beautiful Hobart, Tasmania where we met while studying law at university.

We moved to London, UK in 2015 and spent two years exploring Europe. Unfortunately, our visas expired and we had to return to Australia. We moved to Dublin, Ireland in June 2017 to work and travel for a year. Beyond that, who knows!

We love going to the theatre, trying new foods and just chilling at the pub with a pint and a good chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel, and we love to meet people from all over the world! Some of the best travel experiences come from taking tips from the locals and really getting immersed in a place, while hopefully making a friend or two in the process!

Music, Movies, and Books

Nikki has a degree in English literature and loves reading literary fiction, whereas Aaron prefers his books non-fiction and science-based!

We enjoy going to the cinema to see anything from Star Wars to historical dramas, followed by a pint and a discussion at the pub.

During our time in London, we frequented Ultimate Power, a club night which plays exclusively power ballads - nothing like belting out 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' with a beer in one hand and an inflatable microphone in the other :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aaron kickstarted his travel career with a year-long student exchange to Japan at the age of 15. Returning to Japan to work at a ski resort several years later, he now speaks fluent Japanese and is a keen snowboarder!

Nikki took some time off following university and had an amazing time travelling solo for 2 months through Eastern Europe, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan.

The best decision we've made together would have to be packing up and leaving our careers and family in tiny Hobart to start a new life on the other side of the world in London.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're always keen to have a good chat about pretty much anything, and we love learning/trying new things. We're both currently learning German, and Aaron speaks good Spanish and fluent Japanese.
