About Me
Hi! I'm Nikki, a 21 year old who loves being a student, traveling, photography and writing.
I am studying to become a journalist and I try to combine my hobby in photography with my passion for writing. Next to my study I travel as much as my wallet allows, and I enjoy all the little things in life. I am a positive person who is living the dream, and I am willing to work hard for this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because of my love for traveling, but my student budget, it is hard to go to all the places I want without a lot of money. Couchsurfing is a perfect way to help eachother out and to prevent high hotel costs. Secondly, it is a great way to meet new people and get to know new cultures and share our stories.
Interests
My interests are photography, writing, music and traveling. I am also a people person, so my friends and family (and getting to know new people) make me very happy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Very cliché but Ed Sheeran is high on my music list. I also love 'A Great Big World' and The Fray.
Favourite movies are The Notebook, Pride & Prejudice and PS I love you (Yes I love chick flicks).
I love reading books. 'A fault in our stars' made me cry, just as 'My sister's keeper'. Beside sad books I like thrillers and detectives.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Go on exchange to study half a year in Canada. And be so happy there, that I decide to take a year off to travel more, and after that go on exchange for a year in England. Bye Holland.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The Dutch culture and cuisine. My passion for photography (if anyone wants a new profile picture). My story about my life and travels.
A lot of 'gezelligheid' (Google Translate is the answer).
