I just graduated University and this August I am planning a trip to the Maritimes with my friend Jess. Gardening and growing food is my passion, I love to be outdoors and spend most of my time outside. I am involved in environmental activism work. I love meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I am couch surfing is because I am a low budget traveler. Besides this reason, I think it is a good way to experience a city/town. Staying in a local's home gives you a cultural perspective that you wouldn't experience if you were staying in a hotel.

I enjoy reading dense philosophy books, but also am in love with fantasy. I am currently reading The Golden Compass trilogy. I love learning things, I am a bit of a nerd.

I listen to a wide range of acoustic music. Jazz, Folk, Reggae, Rock. My favourite band is called Rising Appalachia.
