About Me
CURRENT MISSION
theatre/art as a from of resistance
ABOUT ME
I am living in Sao Paulo at the moment volunteering with an NGO who work with children and young people from the surrounding favela's. I am working with my friend Deanna (who I met many years ago through couchsurfing) delivering theatre, art and yoga workshops. I am here until November, then off to Chile and Bolvia but my plans are open. I want to improve my Portuguese and also learn Spanish when I arrive in Bolivia.
PHILOSOPHY
make the road by walking

Music, Movies, and Books
I love lots of books, hard to say.. I love people who know how to tell stories. I like to read books about theatre, peace-building and people's inspiring stories about survival.
I love music that makes me jump up and down, music that feeds my soul, music that makes me nostalgic. I love to dance lots and so being in Brasil has made me happy. I love Samba !! and being introduced to new music when I travel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
white water rafting in the ganges at the foothills of the hymalayas, going to a Chipko movement (tree hugging) meeting in the hymalayas and saw the patch of forest that was saved in the 70's, took part in activist theatre in Delhi with organic farmers.
