ABOUT ME

ummmm... i'm curious, easygoing, always hungry, serious, silly, indecisive sometimes, mostly in a good mood, i like to sleep in the mornings and work hard in the afternoons... a good friend once told me i am like a car that only has 2 gears - 1st gear and 5th gear. that's probably the best description of me - i am always either really in a rush, working really hard or totally chilled, happy to sit and chat all afternoon.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

hosting couchsurfers when i'm at home in sydney and being a great house guest when i'm a couchsurfer.

PLEASE NOTE I am currently living in Brussels and, sadly I can't take requests right now, but if we already know each other / I surfed your couch before, and you want to come to Brussels, I reckon we could work something out :) Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until I live in a more stable household... Sorry :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as a host: so far, i hosted one couchsurfer - it was a good experience. and of course i've hosted oodles of my friends and their partners, friends, second cousins', etc on my couch too.

as a surfer: i have surfed about 7 couches so far and its been amazing.

i have also lived in oodles of sharehouses with lots of different people, and stayed on many a friend or friend-of-a-friend's couch. I'm very considerate of other people and their time and space.

saw a wild kamoshika (half goat, half wolf) in Japan last year.

- I make a fabulous palestinian rice/lentils with spicy tomato sauce (its even vegan)
- I can sew
- I know an enormous amount about coffee growing in the developing world and fair trade
- I'm pretty good at writing stuff (media releases, funding applications, job applications, essays, etc)
- I can use adobe programs like InDesign, Photoshop etc
- Help me learn some hula hoop tricks!
- Help me speak better Spanish!
- Teach me to cook something delicious!
