Overview
About Me
Senior at University of North Florida and will be graduating this Fall! Born and mostly raised here in Jacksonville, FL, I like to travel as often as possible to locations near and far, in search of adventure, springs (hot and cold) and new friends.
I like to spread joy to the people I meet on a daily basis whether that be through kindness, a smile or giving someone my full and enthusiastic attention. I believe kindness is key and life is about the little things, like a really good hug or the smell of jasmine blooming in the spring or the texture of grass blades on the soles of my feet.
Mother Nature is my first love. I love studying the environment and learning the names of new plants and animals I get to encounter. I especially think bugs are cool and severely underrated. And not just the charismatic ones, although I do appreciate butterflies and bees, my favorite insect is a tiger beetle. Or any kind of beetle as they are endlessly cool and I could talk about them forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with new people! I'll be taking a cross country road trip in mid-May and would love to meet some people along the way. After my trip, I'll be working in Dillion, CO over the summer and would like to find friends in Denver and the surrounding areas for backpacking and beer drinking.
Interests
I like the outdoors (hiking, rafting, rock climbing), as well as discovering new music and movies, goofing off and learning and trying new things in the world I inhabit.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically.. I'm all over the place. But to name a few of my favorites, I love the Talking Heads, Hiatus Kaiyote, Beck, the Growlers, David Bowie, to name a few.
Movies... Monty Python and the Holy Grail is my all time favorite movie. I don't watch a lot of movies nowadays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Sequoia and Kings Canyon by myself in the winter (SNOW), as a Floridian (MOUNTAINS) with nothing but a rental prius (???) and a lot of podcasts to keep me sane. It was a really fun adventure and I'll give you some of the highlights, and the funnier lowlights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn new skills and new perspectives from the people I get to meet.
