HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far, it's been a great way to connect with travelers like myself! I hope to be able to host in the future, and cannot wait to start couch surfing myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only actually couch surfed twice so far, but both were great experiences. CS should pay me for the number of people I've persuaded to get accounts. :P

Interests

I love reading! I am a total dog-person, and am usually in the mood to do something spontaneous and off the radar; I enjoy the main attractions, but my favorite way to travel is to follow the advice of the locals, let them lead me to a REAL native experience, off the beaten path. I also love to connect with people, so I think couchsurfing is my new favorite sport!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader. I love poetry, short stories, and am unabashedly into some mainstream series, such as Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc. Read any good books lately?
I am also quite a movie addict. Some of my many favorites include: The Amazing Spiderman, The A-Team, The Princess Bride, She's the Man, The Bourne Series, Insidious.
Favorite TV shows: The Office, The Walking Dead, Parks and Rec, New Girl, Boy Meets World, I Love Lucy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Taj Mahal. It was too foggy to get the full picture, but I was moved to tears by the intricacy and artwork on every stone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to love the people that I don't understand. Hopefully I can share that knowledge with others. Is that teaching?
