About Me

Unfortunately I will not be hosting in the foreseeable future due to the fact I'll be going back to university part-time for career development, while working full-time as a graphic designer.

I really do enjoy hosting, and hopefully I will be able to do it again when things settle down.

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much as I possibly can and meet incredible people along the way.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a mid-20's girl who absolutely can't get enough out of travelling. I actually prefer to constantly be visiting new places and people rather than staying in one spot. I do enjoy hitting the main attractions of a region, but what I love the most is getting to know the locals. If I could describe myself in a few words I'd say that I'm sociable, down to earth, optimistic, and generally happy. In terms of travelling, I travel light; usually one bag with the essentials is all I really need for a few days.

***IF YOU'RE A SURFER LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO STAY, PLEASE READ MY COUCH DESCRIPTION. YES, THE WHOLE THING. BECAUSE I WILL KNOW IF YOU DON'T. I've rejected most requests since I've returned to Toronto simply because people aren't reading my profile in its entirety. And if you think, oh I'll just skim and put in some details and she'll never know. No. I will know. Trust me, I'll know. Especially all you male surfers who all seem to do this even though I state in "My Home" that I feel more comfortable with female guests. So read everything. EVERYTHING. And you'll see why.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep moving forward. Be grateful for what you have. Live simply and with no regrets. Life is generally beautiful, don't let others convince you otherwise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed most of my EuroTrip (2015) and I have met a lot of fantastic and (hopefully) life long friends. I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't couchsurfed in all of these destinations, my travels would not have been so enjoyable! At one point, in Brussels, I was on the ground quite a lot from laughing so much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked through mountains in Switzerland and France. The scenery is something that I can never forget.

I hiked up the Tatry mountains to Kasprowy Wierch surrounded by a thunder storm. It was incredibly terrifying but I loved how the thunder echoed through the mountains.
