ABOUT ME

I'm from Northern Ireland and Scotland (it's a long story...) but have lived in Japan for the last two years. As of July 2007 I am beginning a long-ish trip back to Scotland.

Before coming to Japan I was at university in the north of England (Durham) for four years studying languages and linguistics. I'm kind of a languages geek but I try to hide it as well as I can.

I enjoy being in the city but I'm a country bumpkin at heart and I'm most happy when out in the middle of nowhere. When travelling, I like to be outdoors as much as possible, and I love hiking.

One day I want to move back to Ireland and run a country pub.
