We are from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. We traveled around the world for 27 months and met the most fabulous people by chance, through friends, & friends of friends. We left the US in 2017 and just returned in May of 2019. We learned about new cultures & food & felt so inspired to give back to travelers like those who gave to us on our travel journey. I now work as a Clinical Pharmacist and my husband works from home as a sales professional for a technology consulting startup company. We continue to write for our travel blog, PassportJoy.com and provide content for our podcast (PassportJoy Travel Talk) and our YouTube docuseries, World Barber Shop Adventures (https://www.youtube.com/user/MattJavitDotCom ).

Travel is our passion. We love the concept of couch surfing... meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences with like-minded people while visiting a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the top of Cerro Toco, a stratovolcano, in the Atacama desert in Chile! 5,604 meters... Did I mention I am not a hiker?!
