ABOUT ME

I transferred to University of Edinburgh after my 3 months stay in US. I like this place so much. When I was in China all I know is to hurry life and try to achieve something and get applause. However, after I came here, I realized life offers us so much more to experience.
I like to socialize to meet new people but also discover the world to leave something for me to recall in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

I firmly believe there is a reason for any body to be here in this world. We all have a mission with us. I like to feel useful to other people and myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS when I was in Shanghai from my German friends. Then last semester one of my flatmate is actually a Couch host. So we shared our flat with quite a lot of people. We had wonderful experience meeting people from different countries(Japan, Australia, Latvia,etc), so I am hoping to be a host for the next semester after I get a flat in Edinburgh. Hope to meet you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never be a couch surfer before, but being the host's flatmate, I still enjoyed a lot from it. We took the people out to pubs and parties with us to have a taste of Edinburgh. The couch surfer were so nice that we made dinner party together and talk about interesting experience, which was fantastic!

Interests

Generally I am interested in Modern Art though I am studying mathematics. I enjoy all kinds of sports from tennis to paragliding. In a quite afternoon, I also like to read books in all types or have a movie night with friends. I love hiking to feel the nature and I also like animals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Tibet for 12 days. There was a spring on the altitude of 4000m. My friend and I went there, and the naive people who are living there were so unreal. We went up to the mountain and saw the celestial burial, which I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very entrepreneur person and tried to set up business before. However, lack of experience and resources, my ideas are still struggling. But I would very like to share my whole experience in starting a business. Moreover, I would like to learn more about life like music, books and maybe some special skills.
