Interests

My boyfriend and I just packed all we could into my little car and left the Texas plains in search of happiness and the American dream of making movies. I write scripts. Writing is my lifeblood and without it, I would go 'round the bend. That being said, I make it a point to live with my whole being and embrace adventures. If it happens, I write about it. If it doesn't happen, I still write about it.

Until then: Amelie, Seven Samurai, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, Closer, Young Frankenstein, The Lord of The Rings, Blazing Saddles, Paris Je T'aime, Rules of Attraction, Point Break, Funny Face, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Tokyo Drifter, Only God Forgives, etc etc. I have great taste, just trust that.

Books: This Is How, A Staggering Work of Heartbreaking Genius, LOTR, Life After God, Master Key System, Kiss Me Like a Stranger, etc etc etc. Also impeccable taste here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

SDCC: I am an annual professional attendee of San Diego ComicCon, and every year I am left speechless. The cosplay, the stars, the friends I make along the way, the beauty of the Gaslamp District on an electric July evening...all of it warms my heart and gives me faith in humanity.

As absolutely corny as this sounds, every night I am rendered speechless by the simply complicated beauty of a night sky. It makes me feel small and large at the same time, and it serves as a reminder that the design in the stars is the same in our hearts. Bonus points if you can name that poet...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play a few Hank Williams songs on my ukulele and I can bake a mean from-scratch pie and cupcake.
