ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Nikki Belfiglio. I am forever looking onward and upward.

As of the first of this new year I have quit my job and have decided to travel and live in ways I havent tried yet! I have plans to volunteer at New York Cares and Wwoof, which is about organic farming.

I currently live in Brooklyn NY with 2 boys! We know how to enjoy life, do art and experience life as we see fit! That includes alot of sitting on faded cat scratched sofas just endlessly laughing, talking and watching films! I do photography as a hobby but with interest in taking it to the next level! I went to The School of The Museum of Fine Arts(SMFA)In Boston for one year. SMFA is unique in that it has no grades or majors so I dabbled in Film, Photography, sculpture, painting, performance and Childrens Literature. While in Boston I worked in Chinese take out and as a tourist photographer for the Boston Duck tours, The Science Museum, and the Boston Harbor Whale Cruises. I also was able to see a Yankee/ Redsocks game, which consisted of alot of booing for the Yanks, but I didnt care because I'm a Mets fan anyways.

I always trying to eat better but my lack of skills and desire to cook always leave me relapsing into another sugar episode.

I have flat feet.

I love working but NYC jobs are all consuming. Id rather use my high energy and spirits towards a job working in the west volunteering and maybe ill find a path id like the follow from there.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I am unsure in what my philosophy in life is. I do feel a bit like a gelatinous jellyfish fumbling on a ceaseless circulating course, caught in a wave splayed and transparent, washed upon to my gritty gray grave on the New York City shore.

Right now I am testing Couch Surfing out and seeing what it's made of.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing once while I was desperate in Paris. A great fellow surfer came to my aid and I stayed there for 4 days, way longer than I expected to. It was an experience that I would love to repeat in different parts of the world because it brought me such culture and adventure that I wouldnt have had access to otherwise

Interessen

I like sweets and new foods.
I like keeping busy.
I love going to the movies. The best way to watch them is in the theater.
I like reading. The greatest feeling is opening your favorite book and getting the emotion, sound and smell come back to you from where you were when you read it for the first time.
