I am a theatre artist (actor, director, improvisor); a magazine editor/writer; and an organizer/facilitator involved in community development, international cooperation, and anti-racist and feminist activism. My professional, social, artistic, and activist lives blur together in a way that is beautiful, messy, and conducive to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I am an avid traveler, I am still a bit new to couchsurfing. So far I have been using it to participate in discussion boards, and have surfed a few times. I look forward to hosting & generally engaging more in the couchsurfing community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled many places around the world but am always reminded of how much there is to experience in my homeland, this place called Canada: Seeing icy hills in Labrador and the aurora borealis in Edmonton; driving the stunning Cabot trail in Cape Breton; kayaking in the Pacific off the shores of Tofino; drinking wine and eating peaches in Penticton; the many splendors of urban life in my home cities of Toronto and Montreal.

English is my mother tongue, and am always looking to improve my French and Spanish. I would love to practice these languages, and I also would love to learn Arabic and Portuguese.

Things I can teach/share: cooking, theatre skills, games, jokes, and more. If you want to learn a skill that I can't teach, I can artfully Google a how-to tutorial.
