About Me
Meeting people and seeing how they live has always been fascinating to me! Hearing their perspective on the world, why they live the way they do, and watching them gather themselves as they reveal their personal story amazes me.
I always want to be a better person and exercise my reasoning to its maximum. I love open discussion, philosophy, the wilderness, and mystery. Living is my meditation as much as it is my irresolution.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far the people I have met couchsurfing around the world have been the most generous, interesting, and incredible individuals I have probably ever met. I want to keep meeting people like you who I think about regularly and find inspiration from. I also would like to be that person to someone else one day while I help them along their journey in the world too.
EDIT:
I LOVE Couchsurfing and the community that has developed from it. That's why I'm committed to making a difference in the community. If you host me I will bring my hospitality to you. If you are a guest of mine I expect you to bring your hospitality to me. To me, CS is a reciprocal experience in one way or another.
Please DO NOT contact me if you a looking for a place to sleep, use wifi, shower, ignore my roommates and nothing else. My home is not a hotel.
Couchsurfing charity is a two way street and I'm trying to bring the old CS style back.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading is important to me. I overcame the Kobo and am back to the hard copies of the good stuff. My list usually looks like:
The Grapes of Wrath, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, The Dhammapada, Walden, Clockwork Orange, 1984, Fight Club, Siddartha, The Belle Jar, Heart of Darkness, Catcher in the Rye....
And then there is philosophy. Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Aristotle, Jaspers, James...
Music for me is always changing, but I can most certainly say that Radiohead will always be my number one. ( I also love Lykke Li, James Blake Cinematic Orchestra, Nick Drake, Nina Simone, Charles Bradley)
Movies.... it is not often that I find a movie that touches my heart. Her is one of th few that has. I also love American Beauty and The Big Lebowski dearly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I witnessed human childbirth. Amazing--also traumatizing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching philosophy, back country tripping, cooking.
I want to learn French, Arabic, and German.
Of course, there is so much to learn! Please impart your wisdom on me!
