I have surfed and hosted for a few years now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great so far, really nice to show up somewhere and know some people who are actually locals. Also, I love traveling, and being able to welcome people from all over the world really feeds a small part of me that needs to be thinking about traveling and the rest of the world! A favorite experience of mine, in terms of how Couchsurfing kind of blew me away, was arriving with a friend in Athens, being picked up in Syntagma square to drop our stuff off at our hosts' place, and then proceeding to a rooftop bar where someone's b-day was happening and when you looked out, you saw.... the beautifully lit Acropolis at night... yes!
