Aspiring photographer and thrill seeking spontaneous nature lover travelling around the world. In April 2018 I set off from the UK with nothing but my backpack and I'm going to see how far I can get!

I spent a year exploring Australia on a working holiday visa where I travelled around the country, slept in my swag out bush and generally just roadtripped around. I arrived on Canadian shores in April where I worked in the Kootenays for the summer and now I'm in Calgary for the next year saving for my next adventure in South America and New Zealand.

I'm new to couchsurfing but I'm looking to meet interesting people along the way on my travels and make new friends.

Not to be cliche but travelling is my biggest interest!

Aside from travelling I love all things psychology, random science facts, music (rock, heavy metal and folk) and photography. I sign in a competition accapella choir and I'm currently learning Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very varied. I fluctuate between traditional British folk to country to musical hits to heavy metal. Variety is most definitely the spice of life.

I mainly read fantasy. My favourite series is The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

Absailing down some very tall ridges in the Peak District and white water rafting!

I'd love to meet and travel with people who can help me in my journey to learn Spanish.

I'm happy to share my love of photography - let's get that camera off auto and get some great shots. I can also attempt to bake (which usually ends very badly) or I can make some traditional British food!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversations, travel stories, my cooking skills (although I'm not a chef!) and maybe teach some photography if you're keen to learn!
