About Me

CURRENT MISSION

traveling to Norway next week!

ABOUT ME

Once upon a time, a little boy called Nicolas was born. It was in the year 1986. He was 48cm tall and weighed 2,5kg. Then, he grew up (just a bit). He grew up in his parents house in the Belgian countryside in Baudour (future google's house - near Mons). His childhood was like every other childhood. He ate, and grew up again, he drank and grew up...again. But his parents like(d) to travel, so every year, since the age of 9, Nicolas had the chance to visit some beautiful country, one each year. The list is above (or under? dunno!). It was for him fantastic. But then he grew up a bit too much for his parents. we're in 2004, and he is 1,81m tall. So his parents decided to offer him one last trip. It will be in Ecuador. One of the most amazing countrie I have- sorry- he has ever seen.
Well, he didn't really know if it was because he was too tall for his parents or if it was because he began to study medicine, but it was over for this long trips.
But, he went some times on holiday in Slovakia where he has some friends, and visited 3 times Budapest which is for him one of the most beautiful capital city!
Now, Nicolas hasn't grew up a lot since 2004, he studies still medicine, he lives now in Brussels, near the European quarter, and it's a pretty nice place I think.
He cannot travel a lot, but because it's his last days off before 2 years, he's gonna do a little trip in Dublin/Norway.
After that, he thougts that the best way to travel a bit, is to host some traveler to his flat.

And this is how the story of Nicolas ends. But I'm sure that many lines could be added, thanks to this site and the new people he will meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like very much Pedro Almodovar, Alejandro Amenabar, Aki Kaurismäki (as far as I know), Alejandro Inarritu, and many many others!

Music: I'm very open, I like many sorts of music, but especially rock, post-rock, electro. My favourites: Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Elliott Smith, Portishead, Bjork, Godspeed you! Black Emperor, Muse, Amiina, Ozark Henry, Nirvana, I Am X and many others

Books: It's a pity, for the moment I have begun many many books and I can't finish one, although I love reading! However I like very much Henry Troyat, and one of the books that impress me is "Flash" from Charles Duchaussois

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Perahera in Kandy (Sri Lanka) it was just like unreal. with all the music, the lights, the shouts, all these elephants, I was like in a trance state.

I hope my trip in Dublin/Norway in two weeks will be amazing :o)
