Hey! I'm Niklas, a 26 year old student from Karlsruhe. I'm currently looking to finish my master's degree and that will probably take me another year. I'm open minded and even if I come across a little shy in the beginning, I'm outgoing and really easy and fun to talk to once I've warmed up a little (at least that's what I've been told ;-) ). But if you don't have the time I will just get out of your hair.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My flatmate Simon hosted a lot of surfers over the last few years and I shared this experience with him. I met so many interesting people through couch surfing and our short time together was always a lot of fun! You can see, even if my profile is brand new I have already some Couchsurfing experience. He is now moving out, but I would like for our flat to stay a spot for surfers to visit. Also I would love to try surfing myself. So here I am at Couchsurfing.

-Movies (also way too many): A Fish Called Wanda, Coming to America, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Before Trilogy (Before Sunrise, Sunset, Midnight), Lord of the Rings, Boyhood, Wild Tales, Four Weddings and a Funeral...... everything Wes Anderson, Woody Allen or from the Coens is also nice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- I'm really into cooking (food in general to be honest) and I would love to cook a meal or two for you and whoever is also at your flat!
- Lots of good conversation (if you want to). You will notice quickly that I'm interested in almost everything from world politics to movies & music to sports or just life in general.
