I would describe myself as a very open minded, straightforward person, always eager to meet new and nice people. I'm a very active person who tries to travel as much as possible. On travels, I'm not the "chill-out-guy" but rather want to see as much as possible and get in contact with locals.

I'm on Couchsurfing to travel, meet new people and to make friends in other countries. I'm want to use Couchsurfing as traveler as well as a host.

Centres d'intérêt

Probably one of my biggest interests is sports. I'm enjoy doing every kind of sport. I'm not able to excercise everything myself but I'm eager to learn. Since the beginning of the year I'm totally into Calisthenics.

Another big interest of mine is environmental commitment and sustainability. I think the earth is a great gift given to us and the way we use it is not as it should be. We only have this one earth and won't get another one in the future. So we have to treat it as something precious and not as some sort of trash.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

The music genres I listen to most are always changing. At the moment I prefer listening to reggae, funk and a little bit of Jazz. That's the music that makes me happy and that bring me in a good mood. But I'm open for every other genre of music.
I'm not only listening to music but also doing it myself. I play the base guitar in two bands. I also played the piano but have to get back into some kind of practice routine to say that I actually can play the piano ;-).

I prefer movies with twists like in Donnie Darko, The Mechanist, The Prestige, etc. Absolutely my favorite actor is Christian Bale. The way he gets into his roles is really amazing.

Since I'm out of school, which is some time ago, I learned to appreciate the value of a good book. When I'm not occupied with reading books for my studies, I always enjoy reading. I love the way books allow you to work with your fantasy. Probably my favourite book genre is thriller.

At the age of 26 I already lived in two countries other than the country I was born in. Norway and the US :-).

I'd love to show my guests around in Essen and neighboring cities like Cologne or Dusseldorf.

I could teach you some stuff on my base guitar and I'm always open for a good jam :-).
