Hey there!

I'm a German student living in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science :)

Being an expat (or just a study nomad?) myself I got involved with the international crowd and I quite like it.

While being abroad anyways I went on an Erasmus exchange, which was.. like.. double abroad? Super abroad? Does two times abroad make it home again? Anyways, even though I had to learn that Swiss German and High German are far enough apart to sometimes erect real language barriers (which had to be torn down by an American, it was all very confusing) I very much enjoyed the experience, leading to me now being an Erasmus mentor at my home university.

I quite enjoy hearing new perspectives, broadening my horizon and hearing tales from other people's lives. I also think helping each other out by providing a roof and company is great in and of itself. Making things like this possible, enabling people to be good to each other, is one of the greatest achievements of modern technology.
