About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learning Spanish, preparing a latin america trip in early 2017.
preparing a big bike trip to finlandia, deciding wether to go to china or to Japan.
Not getting bored.

ABOUT ME

I am a down to earth guy. I am now 25 years old and in the middle of my studying. I've changed subject once os I'm one of the older ones.
I can be calm and outgoing all depending on the situation. I could be up to stealing an elephant from the zoo or I could just hang out and have you tell me how you did it. Practising the guitar in the meantime.
I am a peaceful and rational person, but I am also creative. I belive that making music together ist one of the gratest activities for groups.
I woudn't be here if I didn't get a kick out of travelling.

"Afoot and light hearted I take to the open road, the long brown path before me leading wherever I choose, healthy, free, the world before me [and so on]" :)

Anyway I have cultivated some things to work on and I am therefore out of my "I want to test everything" Phase. I know how to prioritise.

I tend to being nice to everyone. Some people hate everyone, some say thats Mainstream. I am not one of them. I usually see sparks of beauty in everyone.

I am not a night club person. Don't get me wrong, I love livemusic, I love dacing and I like going out with friends. But attending a place where you can't talk at all and the musik is either so monotone it's not worth listening to or trying to give you too much instructions or is trying to speak for you... well that'sjust not my taste. Especially if you see the amphetamins speaking our of your fellow dancers eyes.
I like drinking, but I usually don't overdo it anymore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHAT I THINK OF CS:

CS is certainly great and when I joined it the platform looked completely different and old fashioned. I was really burning for it and did it a lot. Well, this has cooled down a little bit. Don't get me wrong, it is still a feast, when someone comes over or I can sleep at someones place and get to know their home through their eyes a little bit. But it has become a regular part of my life. There is no force anymore to have insane amounts of fun or spend all the time together. Much rather all parties can go as they like and go with the flow. You might stay at my place and I might not have a lot of time and ot won't be bad, I will still be a good host and help you if you need it. Same when I come. I think cooking is a good thing to do in exchange for a couch, but no one should be obliged. If you are not interested in cultural exchange or have no time for that it's still completely ok to contact me, just do your thing, I might do the same thing.
That's what it can be boiled down to I guess: Everything can, Nothing must.
That's it.
