My name is Niels and I am originally from the Netherlands. I am an entrepreneur, while I travel and explore the world simultaenously now. This lifestyle allows me to enjoy life to the fullest, explore new places and opportunities, while meeting new people and network. Although I like travelling, I am actively screening places for setting up a base now.

I have never considered myself as a true traveler, but I have been already living abroad in various places for the last 15 years, either for assignments, studies, or as now as an entrepreneur (New Zealand, America, Australia, United Kingdom, Russia, Ukraine). This has granted me with amazing and life enriching experiences, true friends, adventures and knowledge.

I am a very pro-active person, I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and explore the unknown. This is where mostly the magic is found. Hence, I consider myself as a true “student” of the “University of Life”. In other words, I like to get the maximum out of life. Each day, each moment.

Background:

I have graduated with two master degrees (one from England and one from The Netherlands). After my graduation, I was offered an interesting opportunity and worked around Europe for a year and was subsequently assigned to a project in Moscow in Russia for 3 years. I lived in the very heart of the centre of this enormous metropolis, learned one of the most difficult languages and managed to survive the severe winters!

After that, I continued with a new assignment in Ukraine and had the opportunity to live in Lviv and Kyiv for four years, which are both amazing cities and each is special in its own way.

I spent the last 1,5 years in the United Kingdom for my latest assignment, while I worked on my own projects simultaneously. After completion, I decided to proceed solely with focusing on my own projects as this gives me full freedom and autonomy.

It would be great to meet and network with people from all over the world. I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle (i.e.: mens sana in corpore sano). I try to spent time in nature and working out (Martial Arts (Muay Thai, kickboxing), Fitness, Running). I am also an avid reader (in the fields of philosophy, psychology, finance, etc.), I am a very busy and active person, so I also need and take often the time to slow down and relax in tranquillity (spa or relax holidays).
