Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have realised that meeting unknown people is not bad and I shouldn't be shamed of it. You can learn sooo much!

I have been living in Amsterdam for one week and I was accommodated in Amigo Budget Hostel. It was 10beds mixed shared room. There was people changing almost every day and I have met really interesting people. Tommy - scotish guy who showed me how English government works, Josh - from USA who showed me how the VISA system goes and told me so much stories about it, Yelissa - colombian girl who was from Barcelona, but she is studying in Belgium now, Alex - mexican guy who travelled so much, and this vietnameese guy who always had cold.... hahaha. I always will remember.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This can seem like a silly thing but it demonstrate how plans could turn upside down. 13th of March of 2015 was when I was leaving from Delft to Amsterdam and when I arrived to the train station my train just has left. I knew there is another connexion heading to other side to Rotterdam, where I could change to another train heading to Amsterdam. The other train just has arrived. I was wondering if I should enter or better wait for next direct train. I saw a train conductor entering 30m futher and as I was really hurry, I decided in the last second to enter. I walked through the whole train in order to meet that guy and ask him how I change to the other train. He explained me everything. Moreover, he was train conductor of the other train too, so he told me that without him the train is not leaving... haha .. so as we arrived to Rotterdam station, he went with me from the platform 4 to platform 9 to the right train. I was so grateful. It must be seen because other people who was around me was smiling and they tried to help me too. I have realised we all are connected through global help, solidarity and empathy.
