I'm 21 years old and work as a Software Developer for SWISS airlines.

In the past I have always traveled the standard way: visiting touristy places, not really interacting with locals, booking a hostel/hotel and trying "local" dishes at overpriced restaurants. Since my first CS experience a lot has changed though. I have been guided by locals to some of the coolest places that I would have overlooked for sure, I got to sleep in peoples homes and have wonderful conversations about the different cultures, I got to try delicious and authentic food and drinks and all of this only because of the kindness of hosts I've met.
Couchsurfing has given me such wonderful insights into different cultures, it is unbelievable.

So far the experiences have been exceptionally nice, like meeting an old friend I haven't met for a long time: This is exactly the spirit I am looking for on this site. Everybody who is willing to contribute and experience Couchsurfing in the way I have described previously is very welcome to stay with me!

If you are however just searching for a free bed because the hotel is too expensive and are not really interested in interacting with locals and sharing your culture, then please ask somebody else to host you.

Meeting new people from different backgrounds and cultures is definitely the biggest reason I am on Couchsurfing! Learning about a persons way of life, food and traditions is so eye opening and interesting, also a lot can be learned. I think these type of experiences are so beneficial to both parties.

I also love to show and introduce you to my culture, show you around town and have a good time!

I can speak German(with a Swiss accent of course), Russian and English to you. Cook up some traditional recipes and introduce you to the Swiss way of life!

Nobody deserves bad tea, if you have never tried anything except teabags, let me introduce you to some real tea! :)
