Well, hello to you

I'm Nikolaj, a 27 year Danish dude who is just trying to survive life and doing fairly decent at it. Currently studying China Studies and Linguistics as my bachelor, hoping to later on work in either language research, language therapy or anything that won't make be broke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard about this site from several pals, and how they have met so many cool and fun people who they learn a ton from and also turn into friendships. I found this whole thing to be super interesting and I wanna try to see if it can create some unforgettable experiences for me as well. So as of now, I am looking to finally use it. I wanna travel more now and I think there is nothing better than to meet people who are living in the areas I wanna visit.

Movies: Contact is probably my most watched movie. I have also binged way too many series, like X-Files, Bones, Orange Is the New Black and Desperate Housewives. Also love 90s Chinese dramas.

Books: I tend to read mostly non-fiction, but I never say no to recommendations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share fun stories, fun times and also, I can cook , so you know you will eat well with me near. Friends tell me one of my biggest flaws is my obsessive need to cook for people when I visit them. If you call that a flaw, then I will be flawed for the rest of my life.

I also love games, both video and board, so I am totally down to do that with whomever is there. And I tend to bring snacks or other things with me when going abroad, so if you ask nicely, I will bring some for you too.
