Overview
About Me
I was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived there until I was 18. Upon finishing high school, I moved to Los Angeles to study at University of Southern California, where I lived for the last four years. I recently graduated from USC with a degree in Economics. I love history, politics, and writing, but have a special passion for music. I play guitar and bass, and also enjoy dj'ing and producing music in my spare time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently graduated from college, and am traveling in Asia for the next few months. I would like to meet new people, and experience the places I visit from a local perspective. I believe this allows one to see, understand, and gain more from traveling than the average tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very robust taste in music ranging from jazz, blues, hip-hop, disco, and rock to grunge, house, and techno. I love almost all Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino films. Some of my favorite authors are Herman Hesse, Dostoevsky, David Foster Wallace, and Henry David Thoreau. Some favorite books: Siddhartha, and Thinking Fast & Slow.
