ABOUT ME
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for new friends from all over the world, being able to feel the real spirit of the places i visit - not just the usual "tourist" locations, showing the beauties and treasures of Sofia and Bulgaria to other visitors
Couchsurfing offers great opportunity for all of us to explore the world and have exciting new acquaintance with interesting people - it's always better to have good company to share a special moment rather than just keep it for oneself
Interests
I like almost everything unusual and novel... from the ordinary things I'd go for:
exploring the great outdoors (I love mountain hiking or just walking in the countryside) & the inner spaces (like profound talk with a good friend, immersing in a spiritual practice or just learning something new); listening to amazing music from the ancient times to the farthest future; reading good old and new books; simple things like good beverage, laughter & even sleep sometimes ..

Music, Movies, and Books
Music has been my passion for a long time, though only as listener :) A lot of my free time is dedicated to it - either listening to some of my treasures or looking to find new and interesting piece or traveling to a distant location to hear an artist playing live. I love to immerse in the various sonic worlds created by talented artists and composers from the past and present.. genre is not so important when music is created with soul and love. Sometimes i like to try something completely unknown and far from my current taste, but more often i dig deep into an artist/label/genre and absorb as much as i can (and like :) )
Here are some of my most favorite composers/artists that brought happiness in my life at some point:
Classical - D. Shostakovich, A. Scriabin, Boris Tchaikovsky, C. Debussy, I. Stravinsky, G. Mahler.... the list is endless :) obviously I have strong inclination towards the russian and the soviet school:) I love their passion and intricate compositions
Techno - Minilogue, Extrawelt, Lucy, Donato Dozzy, Edit Select, Dominik Eulberg, Moritz Von Oswald .... I love the way life (in musical sense) is created by using unnatural sounds and seemingly simple or sometimes even unpleasant noises. Again intricate arrangements and crafty use of modern and old equipment is what brings me extra joy :)
Psytrance - Psykovsky, Kindzadza, Derango - the intense and loaded sound of psychedelic trance I used to enjoy a lot some years ago - deep in the spruce forests or high on a mountain meadow
Progressive house/trance - Antix/Fiord, Benz & MD, Son Kite, Atmos - the sleek and elegant sound for a nice sunny afternoon or joyful daytime party :)
Experimental/Glitch - Alva Noto, Ryoji Ikeda, Kangding Ray... - among the most interesting live performances I've seen and listened to:)
I also like plenty of the more "mainstream" artists and also to hear music I was not familiar with.
Books are rather long story - I will put just name a few of my favorites - "The Idiot" and "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoyevsky , "Chapayev and Void" by Pelevin, "Post office" by Bukowski, "On the road" by Kerouac... I love compelling stories, vivid characters and unorthodox style
I used to read some fantasy before, and still waiting for the end of A song of ice and fire series
I also like to read about the ancient history of our world, especially the history of eastern europe (especially concerning the Thracian civilization), central asia and to some extent - the middle east
I'm not that much of a movie lover, still there are several movies that really caught my attention - Donnie Darko, Paprika, Memento, Spirited Away, Fight club... just to name a few
