I absolutely love nature and the wild, hence I always try to find an excuse for an adventure, especially when I get stuck in the city for too long. Whether leading a multiple day hike with friends somewhere in the Austrian alps (then getting lost and letting the fun begin), going on a 100km day trip with road bikes or just about anything else outdoors and active that brings me joy.

Other times, I just enjoy a beer and lengthy discussions about the world, the people, the mind. I love listening to peoples experiences and then sharing my own stories back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like surrounding myself with similarly open minded people, who also seek adventure, take and overcome personal challenges and in the process forming a bond with them is the general spirit I’m going with.
As they say, the more you learn the more you realise how much you don’t know. This chase for experiences lead to me learning a lot about myself and the world, and that’s what it’s all about for me.

Books: Mostly interested in non-fiction and biographical books, such as the sequels of Y.N. Harari

Music: Everything from Jazz and Classical compositions to Rock, Pop, RnB, Techno and Hip hop. Enjoy playing it on guitar as well as listening/dancing to it.

Movies: Random documentaries, Suits, Whiplash.. All over the place…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unexpectedly for myself, through just having fun with my mates playing rugby, somehow ended up playing 3 years for the Junior Austrian National Rugby Team and now slowly progressing into the mens national team. Yet the social aspect of this gentleman sport will always remain my priority :)
