ABOUT ME

I was born in Lviv, Ukraine and lived there till I was about 5. Been living in New Jersey for the last 20 years now, with the last year in Hoboken because I work in New York City. I'm down to meet new people from different areas because you learn so much more about the real world. I love living near the city as there is so much to do there, no matter what you're in the mood for.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take things so seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed with those around you. Remove negative people from your life, they'll only mess with your mentality and view of the world. Relationships are everything. The best moments in my life have been related to meeting people and enjoying the company of friends and family.
Don't work your youth away for that promotion. You can always make more money, but you can never have more time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hoboken is directly across the Hudson river from Manhattan and only a 10 minute train ride. My apartment is very easy to get to (see references) and I try to cater to my couchsurfers to what they want to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted 2 groups of travelers and met up with 2 different couch surfers in the city. I like hosting people as I get to meet different personalities.

Interests

I'm interested in meeting new people and having new experiences. I enjoy watching futbol (soccer for you yanks) on the regular and following World Cup and Euro events. I've been to Germany for the World Cup and Ukraine for the Euro this past June and I plan to go to more events. I love hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and having new experiences.
I like snowboarding in the winter and riding my motorcycle in the summer.

For those that enjoy a hookah, my roommate and I have one that is good for smoking with 4 people at a time.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had the time, I would watch more movies but I'd rather read a book, go for a run, or go outside instead. I have my favorites but I've been too busy lately to watch too much tv. I'm open for all types of music... except for country. Most of the books I read are related to better developing myself. Whether it's career oriented, personal life, or health.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best times of my life were spent abroad in Germany and Ukraine. The atmosphere of those countries during the World Cup and Euro is incomparable to anything else I've ever been to before. People from all over the world coming together to enjoy a common sport and have fun.
