About Me
Hi there
My name is Nikoline, I'm from Denmark and I'm 21. I live in a small town in nothern Denmark, where I've studied in the Gymnasium, majored in English, social science and math. I've also been working in a few different places to earn money to go traveling. I love my job as a bestman on a ship called Svanen, which means The Swan in Danish. I get to show tourist the beautiful fjord, which I am proud to call my workplace.
Traveling, Theater and Music is my passion. Meeting other people and seeing the world through their eyes is important to me, and feel like I get to do that through traveling and doing theater. I think the best way to get to know someone is over a good meal and good conversation.
To process my thoughts I write music, which is really close to my heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I said above; I think the best way to get to know someone is over a good meal and through a good conversation. Getting to know someone and their culture through living with them, for what ever amount of time it might be, is an amazing opportunity, which you cannot experience through staying at a hotel or at a hostel. That is why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all time guilty pleasure is Panic! At The Disco, otherwise I'd say that I don't really believe in favorits, mainly because I can't choose, haha! Otherwise I collect russian litteratur and mainly read philosophical authors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been on interrail through Europe with my dear friend Cornelia, which was an amazing experience, because we got to know each other so well, and started to understand parts of our selves through each other. We conquered fears and boundaries which led to the most amazing and important friendship I've ever experienced.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my whole world of crazy, and to me that might start in cooking a good meal for my host. I would love to share my love for theater, music, traveling, cooking, of course knitting and share some parts of the danish culture (not all parts are worth sharing). And of course my gratetude for at least considering to open up your home to me. It means the world to me that people can show each other that kind of trust and openness.
