Hi! I’m Niko 👋

I’m originally from Bogotá, Colombia, — im a lot of time on the road so I can’t always host, but I really value meeting people while traveling and sharing experiences along the way. If you need a place anyway let me know!

Travel is a big part of my life. I’ve been lucky enough to visit around 58 countries so far, and I’m always curious about what’s next. Right now, I’m exploring Japan and reconnecting with Couchsurfing, which I’ve always found to be one of the best ways to experience a place beyond the typical tourist lens.

I’m into climbing, diving, cooking, and getting lost in new cities. I also enjoy slower moments—good conversations, reading, and learning about people’s backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. For me, the best part of traveling isn’t just the places, but the exchange that happens when you meet someone new and share stories.

If we meet, I’m always happy to chat, explore a bit, grab food, grab beers, or just exchange travel stories. And if you ever come to Bogotá, I’ll do my best to help you experience it like a local.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my trips i've met some fellow travelers that told me about it, I've been hosted several times and I've attended some CS meetings on the road, plus i'm happy to hang out with people from couchsurfing anytime. And most importantly travelers are always welcome to surf at our place whenever the have the space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived Russian winter and i jumped from a bridge to the Neva river in Saint Petersburg!(was cold but amazing):)

I want to learn about trips, languages, music, wines, books...

I can teach several things like: Latin dances, some Spanish, some travel tips, it's up to you :)

I can share with you stories about my travels and specially about my country (Colombia) and a glass of wine :)
